Jack and Miguel's Story

Jack and Miguel's love story started in a community theater doing "Rent" in there small Midwestern town. Jack, who was a shy set designer, was right away drawn to Miguel's outgoing energy when he tried out for the Angel role. They started talking backstage and soon had a deep connection, and they found theirselves dealing with the hard parts of being out in a conservative place.

As they're relationship grew, they got more involved in local LGBTQ+ stuff. Miguel was great at performing and became the heart of there pride events, while Jack worked really hard behind the scenes, organizing and getting money. Together, they made a support network for LGBTQ+ youth, giving the help and acceptance they wished they had when they were young.

There home became known as a safe place, always open for people who needed someone to talk to or a safe place to stay. They celebrated every win, from helping a young person come out to there family to finally seeing rainbow flags in local store windows.

When Miguel found out he had a rare cancer, there world was shook. During all the tough treatments, Jack stayed with him, and there love was like a light of hope in the darkest times. Even in his last days, Miguel's spirit was bright. He would often tell Jack, "Our love is like this rainbow, mi amor. Each color is a different chapter, but all together, its a beautiful, complete story."

After Miguel passed away, Jack found comfort in the LGBTQ+ Rainbow Heart Cremation Urn Necklace. He carefully put some of Miguel's ashes inside, and felt really connected when he wore it near his heart. Each colorful part of the necklace made Jack think of a different part of there life together - when they first fell in love, the warmth of there home, the joy of what they achieved, the strength they got from each other, and the peace they finally found.

Now, whether hes continuing there work in the community or just going about his day, Jack touches the necklace and feels like Miguel is with him. Its more than just something to remember him by, its a real reminder of the love they had and the lives they changed. Because of this necklace, Miguel's spirit keeps inspiring pride, courage, and love without conditions.

Our ash necklaces come standard with a 16 inch chain. However, if this chain is too small for you then you can request a 20 inch chain with no additional cost to you. All you need to do is to add your request for a longer chain in the notes section when you go to check out. 

This option is easily available on a computer when ordering. Unfortunately if you are ordering on a mobile device there is a chance that the notes section is not available. If this is the case then you can contact us and we can add the request personally for you.

Yes! We do provide engravings. We can place an engraving on the (front, back, sides) of the piece. The size of the engraving depends on the flat surface space of the piece you're looking at. You may be able to fit a few words, but keep in mind the more words you choose to engrave, the smaller they will be.
